Drumheller Ceremony & Central Alberta Reception | Ashleigh & Scott

Between having to change three different wedding plans among three different locations, these two finally tied the knot. Covid wedding planning is a bitch, but the result can be breathtakingly beautiful.

While planning a wedding is stressful enough, planning during the pandemic and constantly changing your location is a stress unique to those who have planned a wedding during Covid.

These two even saw the worst of it – with their initial dream venue refusing to return a deposit, leaving the bride and groom pulled between what they wanted for their wedding, and what situations they were being forced into financially.

At the end of the day, they pivoted and did what felt true to them and the result was an amazing wedding, a great party, and awesome photos.

They chose to do their first look and exchange vows in an intimate setting in Drumheller, and Ashleigh looked amazing. Like a real life desert Barbie. Anyone who has seen Ashleigh knows she can get married in front of a garbage can and still look beautiful.

Luckily for her, she chose to exchange vows with her groom Scott in one of Alberta’s most unique and breathtaking backdrops in Drumheller.

Next, we traveled to Ashleigh’s parents property in Central Alberta to enjoy a perfectly curated party to the fun couple, where they chose to let their effortlessly cool minimalist backdrop do the talking.

These two will always get to remember the memories we had with just the two of them at their intimate vow exchange and the memories with all of their family and friends, ‘till death does them part.

Congratulations Ashleigh and Scott!
