Gorgeous Hilltop Wedding | Mitch & Veronica

Gorgeous Hilltop Wedding | Mitch & Veronica

To be honest I don’t even know where to start, this wedding was beyond perfect in so many way! But let me first tell you about this awesome couple. I’ve known Mitch for many years as we graduated from Notre Dame High school together. Flash forward to last year, I started going to Veronica for my brows as she had recently moved from Calgary to Red Deer and opened up a brow company! Veronica and I really hit it off and I often looked forward to our little visits. When she asked me to be her wedding photographer I was ecstatic. I mean not only are they both the most down to earth humans, but also, look at them! Veronica is too gorgeous for words and Mitch is such a stud! I hit the jackpot!

I met up with the couple at one of our local breweries in town to hammer out all the details of their wedding and to begin planning their engagement session! When Veronica told me about the colours and theme of her day I knew it was going to blow my mind. And well, It did just that. Not only is Veronica an over organizer like me, but her style is just impeccable and I think that shows through the wedding photos.

The day of the wedding I started out meeting Mitch and his guys at a house on the lake that they rented. We did some quick getting ready photos then I took Mitch outside to open a little gift that Veronica got him! it was so cute to capture his expression! I then headed to Hilltop Wedding center. Now, this was my first time being at this new venue and oh my gosh! you guys! this place is insane! The bridal sweet is ideal for getting ready, there are so many places to take pictures, and don’t even get me started on the white tent. I am so obsessed! When I arrived I was welcomed by Veronica and her girls! I had so much fun chatting and visiting as I clicked away taking sweet pictures of the them.

Veronica and Mitch had hands down the best ceremony I’ve ever been to! She walked down the aisle to Love by Kendrick Lamar. There was so much joy and laughter in the room it brought me to tears. The original plan was to have the ceremony outside but it started to rain 30 minutes before. Family members and the team at Hilltop rushed to move chairs inside and make room in the white tent! In my opinion, I wouldn’t of had it any other way. The lighting that the tent gives off is a photographers dream!

After the ceremony we had plenty of time for pictures. Lilac bushes were in full bloom and I definitely used those to my advantage. Veronica looked like a modern day fashionista princess in her low cut lace dress with her black leather jacket. She went for a long veil which is my dream come true!

The reception was held in the same white tent and my gosh it was stunning! I didnt have to use a flash the whole night! WINNING!! after speeches and dinner, Veronica danced the night away as her girls cheered her on!

Mitch and Veronica, I am beyond grateful that I got to be a part of your special day. I am even more grateful for our new friendship and I cant wait to watch your marriage grow!
